Week 2, September 2010

As part of my Night Photography class "Low Light or No Light" (Intermediate Photography) I created this image, literally in pitch black. Standing at the camera, only some 12 feet away from the tomb stone, I could not see it at all. With a looooooong exposure (opened up the sky a little) and my trusty little flashlight, I was able to "paint" some moody light into the dark areas.

The recipe: Canon 5D MKII, 17-40 f4 L Series lenses. ISO 500 f6.3 30 seconds
