Week 2, April 2010

Besides portraits for personal use, I often find myself creating portraits with a different intent, a professional one. "Head Shots" as they're known in the acting/music/performance world. With a Head Shot session, clients will take their favourite image(s) and use these to promote themselves to agencies etc, looking for work as models, actors etc.

Jayden was a total charm in the studio, showing me his multi-faceted personality. He's got a sense of humour about him as well. Although doesn't have a specific preference of modelling or acting, he DOES know that he wants to get paid for his good looks.

The recipe: Canon 5D MKII, 70-200 f4 L Series lens. ISO 200-800

"Shot of the Week" is brought to you by Christopher M. Johnson Photography as a way of sharing images that were a part of the workflow for that given week. In this weekly posting, I hope to share with you interesting images of all types, including Wedding, Portrait, Commercial and whatever else the lens might see.
Also in the posting will be announcements for promotions, events, classes and other points of interest.

Thanks, I hope you enjoyed the "Shot of the Week"
