Week 3, January 2006

Fully Restored

No, I didn't actually take this portrait ( I'm not that old :) ). My assignment for this project was to restore
the old photograph to new. The original print was not in as bad a condition as some restorations I've seen. It would
have been quite alright except for the moustaches added by the little brother
(he thought they looked better that way). The mouths were a major part of the
task, but the print was also damaged with many creases, indented scratches and major discolouration,
most of which is hard to see here.
